Its difficult to put into words the pure joy of seeing a young G.O.A.L. camper with bits of paper in hand trying to get all the contact details of their new friends before they return home. We see the light in their eyes, the spring in their steps, the obvious sense of great achievement and self esteem. At G.O.A.L. we get a huge degree of satisfaction from seeing children and teens achieve their own personal goals.

Here are some comments from parents and G.O.A.L. Achievers:

There have been a lot of things on this camp that just looked too scary or too hard, so we thought we couldn't do them. But we tried anyway, and we were able to do a lot of them! I think what we've learned is that if we find something in the outside world that looks too hard or too scary, we should try it anyway because we might succeed.

Thank you once again for leading the discussions and organizing the GOAL Camp. Josh enjoyed the Camp very much. I can see that he has more confidence in himself as he was willing to accept the challenges and overcome the difficulties which he encountered in the Camp. Please let me know if there are any more similar camps in the future that are suitable for Josh so that I can plan the holiday beforehand.

- Mother of Josh, age 13
